Description
If you've been to a show, then you've probably seen the MXR Carbon Copy analog delay pedal sitting on someone's pedalboard. This popular delay pedal fuels your signal with warm analog delay effects that will mesmerize your audience. Simple regeneration, mix, and delay controls allow you to dial in the style of delay, and a modulation switch at the top left gives your output an interesting chorus effect. This pedal is rugged and compact, so you won't be losing much pedalboard space when you incorporate it into your signal chain.
All-Analog Circuitry for That Signature Sound
You'll know it when you hear it -- that rich, organic MXR Carbon Copy analog sound has made itself known via many musicians across many different genres by adding a whole boatload of sonic possibilities to the scene. This baby features all-analog circuitry as well as true bypass configuration, so when your pedal is disengaged, your signal won't lose any of its integrity.
Regeneration, Mix, and Delay Controls
With three knobs, it couldn't be simpler to crafting the wide array of tones possible through this dynamic pedal. Your regeneration control determines how many times your delay repeats -- crank the Regen up to get some really interesting sounds. Your mix control balances your dry signal with your wet signal, and the delay control dials in your delay time -- anywhere from 20 milliseconds to 600 milliseconds. With the Carbon Copy's three simple controls, you can achieve anything from subtle thickening to huge washy slapbacks.
Rugged Chassis and Blue LED Lights
Not only is this pedal sonically vibrant, it's built tough to withstand stomp after stomp. A secure outer chassis will keep your signal protected from dust, dirt, and the recurring battle scars from being on the road. Bright, cool-looking LED lights indicate when your pedal is engaged. The modulation switch on the top left, which adds an interesting chorus-like effect, lights up blue as well when it's switched on.
